I’m a scientist and educator with a deep commitment to mentorship, accessibility, and equity in STEM.
Over the years, I’ve delivered lectures, panels, and workshops across educational levels—from high school classrooms to graduate seminars. I’ve supported students through graduate school application coaching, science and math tutoring, and 1:1 mentorship.
What I Offer
-
Guest lectures (K-12, college, graduate level)
STEM career talks and panels
Keynotes or storytelling workshops focused on
Navigating academia as an underrepresented minority
Imposter syndrome and resilience in science
Failure as part of growth

Unveiling the epigenetic code in cancer
My PhD research focused on chromatin biology, epigenetics, and the enzymes that modify histone proteins to control gene expression. Specifically, I studied how these processes go awry in cancer.
Across my scientific work, I care deeply about making complex ideas clear, accessible, and meaningful. I’ve spoken on panels, given guest lectures, and mentored students across all stages of their scientific journey. Whether I’m teaching about epigenetics and helping students navigate their own paths in science, my goal is the same: to expand access, ignite curiosity, and make space for new voices in research.
