Unveiling the epigenetic code in cancer
My PhD research focused on chromatin biology, epigenetics, and the enzymes that modify histone proteins to control gene expression. Specifically, I studied how these processes go awry in cancer.
Across my scientific work, I care deeply about making complex ideas clear, accessible, and meaningful. I’ve spoken on panels, given guest lectures, and mentored students across all stages of their scientific journey. Whether I’m teaching about epigenetics and helping students navigate their own paths in science, my goal is the same: to expand access, ignite curiosity, and make space for new voices in research.
